Add items to your shopping basket by clicking on the relevant buttons above or at the end of the item descriptions. At any time you can go to the Shopping Basket where you can adjust your purchases, select your payment method. If you wish to pay by cheque or electronic transfer, you can print out a summary of your order and mail or fax us. Cheques and electronic transfer must be made out in UK Sterling using the UK£ prices shown. If you wish to pay by credit or debit card, you can select US$, UK£ or Euros as the payment currency (if your card account is in another currency your card issuer will convert the price from your chosen currency in your monthly statement). Your card will validation checking and authorization (or refusal) happens within seconds, through payment services provided by World Pay. If your transaction was successful, you will receive an order acknowledge from our shop and a digital receipt of your credit card transaction from WorldPay. Knowledge Briefings, K-guides and tools will be emailed to the email address you specify automatically. Hard-copy items will be dispatched by first class or air mail post for books, and express mail or courier for reports.

We want to make your online shopping experience pleasant and rewarding. Therefore to avoid any confusion, please make sure you have checked the description of your purchases and have read our trading terms and conditions. If you have any special requirements (e.g. quantity discounts), or if goods have not arrived within a reasonable time (usually 3-5 days or as otherwise confirmed on our acknowledgement), then please do not hesitate to contact us.

Problems

We list below reasons and solutions to some of the problems reported by our shoppers from time to time.

1. I don't see any items in my shopping basket.
- Usually this is because 'cookies' are disabled. This is the only part of our site that uses cookies, so that as you browse, your shopping basket contents are remembered. To enable session cookies click on Tools, then Options, then Privacy (in Internet Explorer) or Cookies (in Firefox)

2. My credit card is refused. The most common reasons are:
- Mistyping the card number
- Using a corporate Visa purchasing card where your company (or bank) refuses online purchases
- You have not selected the country of issue of the card
- Your card issuer restricts which currency can be used online.

3. My goods did not arrive automatically. The most common reasons are:
- Mistyping your email, especially separators such as - or .
- Looking in your wrong email account
- Your email message box has reached its capacity. - Your corporate server restricts receipt of certain types of files (eg Zip files as used on our special packages.

4. I only ordered one copy but got debited for two copies. This occurs if:
- You click on Add to Basket from more than one place (the unit count is automatically incremented).
- You surf eleswhere, come back and start again without ending your Internet session. The system remembers your shopping basket.
Please therefore check the quantity is correct before proceeding to check-out. We will give you a refund (minus a handling charge) for the copies you did not need.

Occassionally, there are these or other hiccups; if so, email us (sales@skyrme.com) with your WorldPay receipt number and what has gone wrong. We will do our best to put it right.
